In december we issued a new roadbook. Several new cols appear in the itinerary.
The most appealing ones are the Col de Baracuchet (instead of the Croix de l' Homme Mort) in the Massif Central, and the Hourquette d' Ancizan and Col d' Azet in the Pyrenees (both instead of the Col d' Aspin).
The Baracuchet is a beautiful easy col.The first kilometers are the same as we already did for the Cx de l'Homme Mort. The new climb is 19 km with an index of 4,7.
The Hourquette and Azet regularly appear in the Tour. The Hourquette is a quiet col with a few steeper parts.
The index is 3,5. The first ten kilometers are the same as the old route to the Aspin, but from Payolle we follow a new route.
The Col d' Azet is much more difficult, with an index of 5,7. Nearly the whole ascent (10 km) is about 10%.
